We are here for everyone who studies, teaches, and works at the universities in Nuremberg. We offer interesting events that enrich your studies and broaden your perspective on life. With us, you can experience community, make new contacts, enjoy international exchange, or just be yourself. Our spaces invite you to linger, to study, to pray and eat together. The KHG wants to be a place where you can be yourself: No mask. No pressure to perform. No fear of judgment. For us, it’s important to engage with current social and political issues because belief in God and the question of a just world cannot be separated. That’s why, for us, Christian spirituality and social engagement go hand in hand. We want to work towards an open and tolerant society that unconditionally respects the dignity of every person.

Openness

Everyone who studies, teaches, or works at the universities in Nuremberg is welcome with us. We appreciate diversity and different worldviews. We believe in a God who brought diversity into life and loves every person unconditionally.

Space

With us, there is space for many things: literally for dancing or meeting up, but also figuratively, for questions, projects, and ideas. We make sure that, as KHG, we create a safer space. A space where we consciously treat each other with care. This also means zero tolerance for discrimination: racism, sexism, queer hostility, and any form of belittling have no place with us. We pay attention, we listen, and we step in.

Spirituality

The KHG wants to be a place where faith and spirituality can breathe freely. You don’t have to tick off any dogmatic checklists. You’re allowed to search, doubt, wrestle with the Church, and discover your very own spirituality. Do you have questions about faith? Or are you thinking about getting baptized? Exchange

Here you meet students from all subjects, universities, and semesters! International and interfaith exchange are especially close to our hearts.

Ideas

Anyone can get involved, contribute ideas, take part, whether for a short time or long … If you want to start a specific project, talk to us, maybe it won’t just stay an idea!
