You are coming from abroad and you are in Nürnberg for the first time? Welcome! We do hope that you feel at home. People from Franconia and especially Nuremberg are, due to the past as trading city, famous for its cosmopolitan openness and friendliness.

The Catholic University Chaplaincy is part of the Catholic Church, which considers all human beings to be brothers and sisters:

Openness

We are available to everybody, who study at the Universities of Nuremberg, including the professors and staff. We appreciate diversity and all different world views.

Space

We offer space for a lot: literally to the dancing or meeting each other, but also in metaphoric sense, for questions, projects and ideas, … we are happy to offer place and support to you.

Spirituality

We believe, that life and the community always has a spiritual dimension also. For this mystery we want to open our eyes mutually and try to connect together to this source of power and consolation through various accesses.

Exchange

At the KHG you will meet students from all faculties, universities and semesters! We really care for international and interreligious sharing and exchange.

Ideas

Everybody can take part, propose new ideas, get involved, temporarily or on long term… If you want to start a certain project, you invited to tell us about it, then appeal to us, maybe we can plant and grow this flower!

Orientation

Sometimes things around you seem to suffocate you, then maybe a conversation might help to to see clearer again and find the next step. We both, Bettina and Michael have time for talks; it costs nothing but your time and courage, simply mail or call for an appointment.
